Abstract

Electrical safety is the state of acceptable risk that allows functionality, operation, and maintenance, safeguarding the user and the facilities, equipment, and systems. Protocols are necessary; however, the complexity of the system and current environments mean that the concept of safety is closely linked to safe work procedures, not only with requirements for a good protection system but also with the training of personnel, good practices, use of technologies, appropriate tools and components or characterization of environments.
