Abstract

Today the world is digital and the human beings share and interchange information in digital formats. Thus the digital television is a natural technological evolution of the present analogical system. It allows the people to accede to superior qualities of image and sound as well as to additional services, as they require the present necessities century XXI in the heat of. The analogical television implies that audio and video signals ,as they are generated in the originating station, to propagate by the air by means of radio waves, so that they are received by the users. In the case of the digital television these signals of audio and video are digitalized and of this form they can be compressed. Thanks to this compression, the transport of the signals until the end user (the viewer), are made much more in safe form as opposed to the interferences of the radioelectric phantom and counting on a much more remarkable quality.
