OHSAS 18000, GESTIÓN DE LA SEGURIDAD Y SALUD EN EL TRABAJO

Abstract

The systems of management in Safety and labor health are a demand of the enterprise market, that have still not been able to be developed in an standard ISO. Meanwhile, standards OHSAS 18000 are replacing this necessity. The tendency to the certification is growing within a globalized market. And the legislative requirements, make more emphasis in than the safety and labor health is integrated within the enterprise management. For that reason, the combination of legal obligations along with mechanisms that cause the development of systems of management of safety and labor health, becomes necessary. But it is not sufficient, since a formal fulfillment would not guarantee an effective management if it does not go united to an effective will to eliminate and/or to diminish the labor risks.
