SOLAR THERMAL ENERGY SELLING IN A HOSPITAL FROM MURCIA

The growing social awareness, commitment from public administration, an increasing oil’s barrel price and investigation progresses related to solar thermal energy are providing saving and business opportunities for all the actors involved in manufacturing, installation and use of this kind of renewable energy. In this paper, a 200 m2 solar thermal installation located in the Morales Meseguer Hospital from Murcia will be described. This installation is being used by a contracting model named ST-ESCOs in which energy is sold to the hospital, but the property is not the same the user.
