Abstract

Climate is constantly changing and there are numerous studies to prove it. All indicators show a decrease in precipitation and, above all, a change in its annual distribution. In this context, urban water reuse is an alternative that has been considered for years. In 2023, Royal Decree Law 4/2023 [1] was published, which states that administrations must promote urban water reclamation. Therefore, in the context of the current regulations, its theoretical quantitative scope has been studied and its uses could be extended to other domestic activities, not only in the event of a disaster declaration, which is the current situation.
