Resistencia a compresión de los objetos impresos en 3D atendiendo a la orientación de su construcción laminar
Abstract
This study tries to carry out the compression tests pertinent
to a part manufactured using the 3D printing technique. In
these tests, we will take into account the dimension of the
pieces, the type of filament, the slicing parameters and, above
all, the direction of the printing plane. With this research
we want to publicize the new processes associated with 3D
printing and how we can improve existing technology. The
main objective is to compare the difference between the
compressive strength of a 3D printed part, when the force
acts in a direction parallel to the printing layers, and when
it acts in a perpendicular direction. In this way, we can
determine the position of the part in the printer and avoid
the possible deformation problems that exist with this new
additive production technique. Finally, we will make some
conclusions derived from the study, and will make proposals
for new avenues of research. With this article we intend to
demonstrate the importance of the process of printing a part,
the placement on the work plane and the materials used.
