REQUIREMENTS DUE TO THE EXISTENCE OF EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERES

Abstract

“As a result of the current legislation

about explosive atmospheres, efforts

are being made to establish the safest

conditions for the employees to avoid

the risk posed by the explosive atmosp

heres in the work place and to classify

the instruments and protection systems

that are used in those places.

A risk assessment and evaluation

of each step in the production of the

se explosive gases should be carried

out and noted on the document of

protection against explosive gases

(DPCE). This DPCE document should

be completed before the activity is to

be carried out and included with the

risk assessment/prevention docu

ments for the activity.
