Abstract
The article gives a general overview
of the evolution in methodologies
and management tools that took pla
ce in the second half of the XX cen
tury, the incidence they had on the
overall competitiveness of companies
and countries and the development
of different management and awards
models in such different economic
blocks as Japan, the USA and Europe
in order to encourage companies to
use advanced management practices.
An evaluation is made of the diffe
rent degrees of development of these
methodologies in several countries
and the article indicates the determi
ning implication and participation ro
les people played in enterprise mana
gement resulting in successful met
hodology implementation.
Lastly, in accordance with Mass
low’s Theory, the article strikes an
