Abstract

The importance of the Social Responsibility (SR) is closely linked with the role that it plays in the sustainable development. In order to homogenize concepts and promote its implementation in the highest possible number of organizations, its management is being standardized by means of the ISO methodology. In the development of the ISO 26000 RS Guide, experts from all the interested groups and from many countries are working and progressing in overcoming the difficulties that a challenge like this involves.
