Abstract
We are approaching the period that
General Motors call “Economy of
Hydrogen”, which signifies the step
from the oil era to that of electron.
This marks an enormous change in
socioeconomic development and new
energy perspectives.
The writer believes that this chan
ge will be accelerated by the neces
sity of “saving” the western automo
tive industries.
The following have been greatly
discussed: automotive industry di
mensions, existing plants, the cha
racteristics and technology of hydro
gen production, the fuel substitution
and about these a series of conclu
sions have been formulated.
