PREVENCIÓN DE RIESGOS LABORALES: ASIGNATURA PENDIENTE (PARTE I)
Abstract
Ten years after the promulgation of
the law 31/1995 of Prevention of La
boral Risks, we can still see that
work-related accidents are unfortuna
tely current affairs, due to the se
riousness of the consequences and
the high number of cases.
Provisions like RD 604/2006 have
been recently promulgated, modif
ying this way the RD 39/1997, which
approved the regulations of Preven
tion Services, and the RD 1627/1997,
which established the minimum se
curity and health provisions in buil
ding works, that, together with the
Law for the reform of the regulation
frame for prevention of laboral risks
(Law 31/1995, and Law of Infringe
ments and Sanctions of the Social
Order), have as their aim, among ot
hers, to introduce in a clear and for
ceful way the obligation in the men
tioned reforms, and integrate the pre
vention of laboral risks in the general
management system of the enterpri
se, both in the whole scheme of its
activities, and all hierarchical levels
of it, through the establishment of ru
les, goals objectives, and all of it by
means of the implantation of a Pre
vention Plan, which should be kept
well documented.
